Introduction

Corona or Covid-19 is infecting almost everyone not only in India but the entire world.

It is very infectious and spreading very fast among us.

If Corona virus infects any person, it first impacts and damages lungs or the respiratory system.

So, to stay safe or even if we get corona test positive, lets not get panic.

There are lots of ways we can stop the spread of Covid-19 virus in lungs.

One of the best, effective and easiest way is to practice Pranayama, that to Bhramari Pranayama.

Bhramari Pranayama (Bee Breathing) is the easiest and best method to treat and cure Corona infection.

Here are the steps to do Bhramari Pranayam

  1. Sit comfortably at calm place and allow your eyes to close
  2. Take a breath or two to settle in and notice the state of your mind
  3. When you’re ready, inhale slowly
  4. Then, for the entire length of your exhalation, make a low- to medium-pitched humming sound in the throat (like ‘Hmmmmmmmmmm’)
  5. Notice how the sound waves gently vibrate your tongue, teeth, and sinuses. In the beginning days, imagine the sound is vibrating your entire brain
  6. Do 6 repetitions for 3–4 times a day

To intensify the effects, you practice Shanmukhi Bhramari Pranayama (variation of Bhramari Pranayama)

In this variation, encourage pratyahara, the turning of the senses inward, so by blocking some of the external input to the senses with your fingers.

  3. Close your ear canals using fingers on both sides
  4. Inhale slowly

  6. Do 6 repetitions for 3–4 times a day

While exhaling, we do humming. That humming is very important.

Humming during Bhramari pranayama increases production of Nitric oxide.

The slow movement of air through the nasal passages stimulates the production of Nitric Oxide. Nitric oxide is produced in the nasal passages and serves quite a few healthy purposes in the body. It has now been hugely studied and in 1998 a Nobel Prize was given to three scientists who revealed the role it has in neurotransmission.
